While living in Yorkshire, I had the pleasure of experiencing some of the best afternoon teas this area has to offer. From beautiful hotels to quaint tearooms nestled in the countryside, here are some of the best places to enjoy afternoon tea in Yorkshire.

Perhaps the most famous tea room in Yorkshire, Bettys in Harrogate has offered a traditional British afternoon tea experience since 1919. Mama Doreen’s has rave reviews online expressing their admiration for the “exquisite, peaceful, and beautiful tea rooms.” This small establishment is intimate and cozy, perfect for a special afternoon tea experience.
